Here at Bodhi Counseling & Consulting, we promote the cultivation of diversity, equality, inclusion, and justice. Our duty is to service all communities and walks of life including, but not limited to, genders, ethnicities and races, sexual orientations, abilities, socioeconomic status, and religions. Regardless of identity, it is important that each member of our community is treated with respect and is granted the services that are requested. In doing so, we operate in the following: servicing several types of mental health therapy treatments, promoting insurance for college students, and providing more mental health awareness and services towards BIPOC (Black, indigenous, and/or people of color) communities and LGBTQIA+ communities.
As Bodhi’s name derives from the symbolic Buddhist tree, we continue to enlighten ourselves about the changing world around us which we hope invokes a safe, stable, and hopeful counseling environment. The well-being of our patients goes further than their mental health. Not only do we wish to service our patients in a professional setting, but we hope to garner feelings of community and unity within the environment. We strive to bring more diversity within our community in terms of both our staff and clients. Learning and life growth are not linear, but a continuous cycle that we must build from. Through this cycle, Bodhi embodies a place of continuous growth through mental health awareness coupled with societal changes. As a cyclical environment, we promote various forms of therapy to ensure the highest quality of treatment for each client. Together, here at Bodhi, we aim to provide a safe place and hope to better our community through counseling for all.
