You’re not alone. Young adulthood is full of questions, pressure, and uncertainty. Maybe you're overwhelmed by anxiety, stuck in a cycle of depression, or grappling with questions like: Who am I, really? Why do I feel so disconnected? Will it always feel this hard?
Whether you're navigating life transitions, exploring your gender identity or sexuality, managing trauma, or simply trying to stay afloat, you deserve a space where you can process and heal safely.
Let’s be real—figuring yourself out is hard, especially in a society that demands clarity and conformity. You may be struggling with depression that leaves you feeling numb, tired, or stuck. Anxiety might follow you around no matter how hard you try to shake it. You might be trying to make sense of your sexuality or gender identity in a world that doesn't always feel safe.
Life transitions like college, work, relationships, or leaving home can feel overwhelming. Trauma might still be showing up in your thoughts, relationships, or even your body. And deep down, you may just be searching for someone who truly gets it—without judgment or assumptions.
I see you. Therapy with me is about creating a space where you don’t need to have it all figured out. A space where it’s okay to question, cry, laugh, yell, explore, and begin to heal.
You may feel lost or unsure about your future, struggling with mood swings, sadness, or emotional numbness. Anxiety might make everyday life feel exhausting. You could be questioning your identity in a world that doesn’t always feel safe. Perhaps you’re carrying trauma that you’ve never had the chance to unpack, or feeling like no one truly understands what you’re experiencing.
Therapy can help—and you don’t have to face this alone.
How I work: gentle, grounded, and direct. Clients often describe me as warm, empathetic, and down-to-earth. I also believe in being real with you. Healing happens when compassion meets honesty—when we face your pain with both curiosity and courage. I work through a trauma-informed, client-centered lens, drawing from a variety of therapeutic approaches tailored to your needs and goals.
My work includes strength-based, identity-affirming therapy for LGBTQ+ clients; EMDR for trauma and overwhelming experiences; DBT to help regulate emotions and build coping skills; ACT to support living in alignment with your values; and IFS to explore and heal the inner parts of yourself with compassion.
You don’t need to shrink or explain yourself here. Just bring your full self. I’ll meet you there.
“To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make
you something else is the greatest accomplishment.”
— Ralph Waldo Emerson
I’m a Licensed Social Worker with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Master of Social Work, both from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, LGBTQ+ identity exploration, and neurodivergence.
My past experience includes work with adolescents in residential trauma treatment, three years in an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) supporting global clients, and as a therapist for college students with disabilities.
I provide therapy that is warm, affirming, and real. Clients describe me as gentle and grounded—but also honest and direct. I’m here to hold space for all the messy, confusing, beautiful parts of becoming who you are.

When I'm not in session you’ll probably find me lounging in the sun (my cats nearby, if I’m lucky), watching Gilmore Girls for the hundredth time, checking out new local restaurants or concerts, or getting lost in a good book or supporting small businesses.
Yes, I’m a cat lover (but I’d never call myself a “crazy” one—okay, maybe a little).
I receive clinical supervision from David McDaniel, LCSW.
