Being a human being in a complex world isn't easy, and finding your way through it looks different for everyone. As a counseling intern, I want to help you understand your own story and move toward healing, meaning, and a version of yourself that feels more like you. I focus on creating a space that's safe, accepting, and genuinely inclusive — where your identity, background, and relationships are met with respect, not judgment.
I draw from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Strengths-Based approaches, trauma-focused work, mindfulness, and expressive arts to help clients manage pain, build practical coping skills, and tell more helpful stories about their lives.
As part of Bodhi Counseling & Consulting, I practice within a framework that's unapologetically LGBTQ+-affirming, neurodivergent-affirming, and trauma-informed. That's not an add-on to how I work — it's the starting point. Good therapy has to meet people where they actually live, not where they're expected to fit, and I want every client to feel that from the first session.
Therapy is a collaboration between me and the client, and I adapt my approach to fit each person's priorities and pace. I want to help clients embrace the full complexity of their lived experience — there's no single right way to be human, and my role is to help you find what works for you.
I have experience supporting clients navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-esteem, relationship struggles, and stress.
I'm a second-year Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, working toward licensure as a counseling intern at Bodhi. Cost is often the first barrier standing between someone and the support they need, so I offer sliding scale sessions starting at $10 — making quality care realistic for students, young adults, and anyone without insurance.

My Hobbies are:
Outside of counseling and my studies, I enjoy creative activities such as drawing, painting, and coloring, especially watercolor, which I love for its fluidity and beautiful colors. I also enjoy spending time in nature and with animals, caring for my plants, taking walks and hikes, and hope to adopt bunnies someday. In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, and watching cartoons, anime, and dramas, particularly romance, psychological thrillers, mysteries, and action. I also love playing video games and cosplaying my favorite characters. These creative and recreational activities are meaningful ways for me to relax, recharge, and practice healthy stress relief and self-care.
