ADHD coaching at Bodhi is a practical, skills-focused service that helps clients build routines and systems that fit how their brains work. Coaching centers on present-day goals such as starting tasks, managing time, and following through, and it is offered in a nonjudgmental, neurodivergent-affirming way.
How ADHD Coaching Works at Bodhi
ADHD coaching at Bodhi is collaborative, flexible, and strengths-based. Coaches work with clients to identify what gets in the way of daily goals, then test strategies that fit each client's energy, interests, identity, and lived experience, rather than applying a one-size-fits-all system.
In ADHD coaching, coaches may:
break large tasks into manageable first steps
build routines around real energy patterns and schedules
support time management, planning, and follow-through
use ADHD-friendly strategies such as body doubling, visual cues, and accountability check-ins
work with interest-based motivation instead of against it
address perfectionism, overwhelm, and shame that get in the way of progress
set clear, collaborative goals and adjust the plan as needed
Who ADHD Coaching May Help
ADHD coaching may be helpful for adults who:
• have an ADHD diagnosis
• suspect they may have ADHD
• were diagnosed later in life
• struggle with starting tasks, time management, or follow-through
• are managing work, school, parenting, or household demands
• want practical tools alongside emotional support
Coaching and Therapy at Bodhi
ADHD coaching is skills-focused and does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. Clients who also want support for anxiety, depression, trauma, or the emotional impact of living with ADHD can pair coaching with therapy at Bodhi. Medication management is also available in-house through Bodhi's psychiatric nurse practitioner. [Link to Medication Management page]
