Breaking cycles, building strength

Life can leave us feeling lost, hopeless, and disconnected from ourselves and the people around us. For a lot of reasons, you may feel alone in this. I believe we all deserve acceptance, validation, and compassion. Maybe this is your first time seeking therapy, or maybe therapy hasn't felt right in the past. Either way, I'm glad you're taking this next step, whether that means breaking generational cycles, making sense of overwhelming emotions, or working through difficult life events.

In therapy, I help you uncover your strengths so you can grow, heal, and build coping skills that work for you. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and strengths-based, client-centered approaches, along with trauma-informed practice and culturally responsive CBT. I'm also an EMDR therapist in training, supervised by EMDR International Association consultants.

I have experience working with anxiety and depression, first-generation college students, children of immigrants, and the BIPOC community, and I welcome people working through life transitions and trauma, as well as Spanish-speaking clients. We'll work together to find the approach that fits you best.
