You are enough, as you are
No matter what you do, maybe you feel like you're never good enough. Expectations from society or family, along with trauma, can leave you feeling too different or like you're not doing enough. I offer a compassionate, understanding space to explore that, whether you have ADHD, you're autistic, you're struggling with body acceptance and diet culture, or you're facing the complexities of parenthood.
I draw on DBT and acceptance- and mindfulness-based therapies, and I bring trauma-informed, social-justice-informed care and a Health at Every Size (HAES) framework to our work. Together we'll build practical tools for managing challenges, foster self-acceptance, and navigate the transitions that come with becoming and being a parent.
My approach is empathetic and non-judgmental, with some humor mixed in. I believe every person's story is valid and deserves understanding. Therapy is a collaboration, and we'll work at your pace to build resilience, strengthen coping strategies, and celebrate the strengths that make you who you are.

Outside the office
I received my Master of Social Work from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. My earlier clinical work included therapy for college students with physical, psychological, and developmental disabilities, and before becoming a therapist I worked in research and grants management. I'm a parent to two kids, and we love playing video games, baking, and taking on new adventures. In my spare time, I read fantasy and sci-fi, take long leisurely walks, and produce and perform stand-up comedy.
