There's strength in choosing change
Change, even positive change, can feel hard and scary. Simply being here reflects a courageous decision to pursue something different. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, self-doubt, or the weight of generational trauma, this is a place to set that weight down. You might feel stuck in intrusive thoughts or overwhelmed by hopelessness. Whatever you carry, you're welcome to bring it here.
Therapy offers a space to show up fully, authentically, vulnerably, and without judgment. Healing happens through genuine connection and community, and my role is to walk alongside you as you explore what change, connection, and belonging mean in your life. I also pay close attention to the mind-body connection and how distress affects your presence and engagement with life.
You're the expert on your own life, and our work is guided by your goals. I draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and Relational-Cultural Therapy (RCT), and I bring creativity, humor, and authenticity to sessions, always within a trauma-informed framework that centers your autonomy.

Outside the office
I earned my bachelor's degree in Psychology from Illinois College and my Master's in Human Development Counseling from the University of Illinois Springfield. I've worked with a diverse population of college students and with people living with dementia and their caregivers. One of my biggest goals is to do at least one thing I enjoy every day. I'm an avid runner and often run local races, and I love reading, my favorite podcast Morbid, and making art. You'll often find me outside with my partner and our black lab, Morty.
