Hi everyone! My name is Maria Fernanda, but you can call me Mafer—it's the nickname I've gone by for as long as I can remember.

I was born and raised in Honduras, where I developed a passion for communications, storytelling, and creating meaningful connections through impactful messages.

I'm a communications and marketing specialist with over 12 years of experience. I hold a bachelor's degree in Communication and Advertising and a master's degree in Corporate Communication. Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to work with a variety of organizations, helping transform meaningful stories into engaging communication materials that showcase the impact of their work. I've also developed content strategies and adapted messaging across different digital and social media platforms to connect with diverse audiences.

Working with Bodhi has been especially inspiring because it's my first experience in the mental health field. It's been incredibly rewarding to learn more about this space and to help tell the stories behind the compassionate, life-changing work our clinicians do every day. Being able to share that impact and connect more people with these important services has made this experience especially meaningful to me.
