Why therapy can help
BIPOC communities face stressors that take a real toll on mental health, including systemic racism, discrimination, intergenerational trauma, and cultural stigma around getting help. Therapy can be a powerful, empowering step toward healing and resilience.
What we offer
Exploring racial and cultural identity. A safe space to work through identity, belonging, and cultural expectations.
Healing from racial trauma. Tools to process fear, anger, or helplessness that come from racial trauma.
Relationships. Support with family, friends, and colleagues, including communication, boundaries, and conflict, especially across cultural differences.
Coping with societal stressors. Strategies for dealing with discrimination, microaggressions, and social injustice.
BIPOC Communities
Embracing racial and cultural identities
Therapy matters for everyone, and it can be especially meaningful for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC). At Bodhi, you'll find a space where your racial and cultural identity is respected and woven into your care, not set aside.

Our approach
Our therapists are trained to understand the cultural factors that shape mental health, and they respect and integrate your cultural background into the work. You won't have to explain or defend your experiences of racism before we get to work. We're trauma-informed and social justice-informed, and we keep learning.
