Who feminist therapy is for
Feminist therapy is a good fit if you're exhausted by systems, roles, or expectations that no longer work for you, and tired of being told to cope better instead of being understood. It can be especially supportive for women and femmes, LGBTQIA+ clients, survivors of trauma or chronic invalidation, people dealing with burnout or activist exhaustion, and helpers and caregivers who carry a lot of emotional labor. It's inclusive of all genders and identities.
What sessions may include
Exploring how social and cultural messages shaped your self-image
Naming and unpacking internalized oppression
Seeing survival strategies as adaptive, without shame
Building self-trust, agency, and choice
Practicing boundaries and assertive communication that honor your values
Reclaiming parts of yourself that were minimized or silenced
Feminist Therapy
Therapy that understands your pain in the context of the world you live in
Feminist therapy is a supportive, affirming approach that sees emotional pain as deeply connected to the world around us. Anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout, and self-doubt are often shaped by social pressure, systemic inequality, and cultural expectations, not personal failure. Therapy here isn't about fixing you. It's about understanding you, validating your experience, and helping you reconnect with your voice, your boundaries, and your inner wisdom.

Our approach
Feminist therapy is collaborative, relational, and client-centered. Your therapist works alongside you, not above you. You're the expert on your own life. Instead of asking what's wrong with you, we ask what happened to you and what messages you were taught about who you're supposed to be. Distress is understood as a reasonable response to real conditions like sexism, racism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, and burnout.
It's also trauma-informed and intersectional. We put emotional safety, consent, and choice first, and therapy moves at your pace. Gender, race, sexuality, class, disability, and culture all shape mental health, and we make room for how those intersect in your life without assumptions. You don't need to educate your therapist or justify your beliefs.
