Why therapy can help
Trans, nonbinary and gender-expansive people deal with stress most people never have to think about: misgendering, family rejection, unsafe workplaces, medical gatekeeping, and a constant stream of news and politics aimed at your existence. That adds up. Therapy gives you a place to set some of it down, sort through what you're feeling, and build support that actually fits your life.
What we can help with
Exploring and understanding your gender identity
Coming out to family, friends, partners or at work
Social transition and navigating changes in your relationships
Dysphoria, anxiety, depression and minority stress
Family conflict, rejection and finding chosen family
Support for parents and partners of trans and nonbinary people
Gender-Affirming Therapy
Affirming support for trans, nonbinary and gender-expansive people
Figuring out who you are and how you want to move through the world takes a lot of energy, especially when the people and systems around you aren't making it easy. At Bodhi, you don't have to explain or defend your identity before we get to work. Wherever you are, questioning, coming out, transitioning, or living fully as yourself, we meet you there.

Our approach
Your identity isn't the problem to fix. We follow your lead and your goals, whether that's exploring gender, handling a tough family situation, or working on anxiety, depression or trauma that has nothing to do with gender at all. Our clinicians are LGBTQ+-affirming and trauma-informed, and we keep learning so you don't have to educate us.
