Relaxation is extremely important when considering your well-being and mental health. Being relaxed may seem like something that comes easy to you but have you ever taken the time to scan your body for any tension that is being caused by negative emotions or thoughts? Prioritizing your body and mental health is exactly what these worksheets provide you with the tools to do! Bodhi Counseling and Consulting is pleased to add a relaxation section of worksheets for you to take the time to relax and reflect on your body and mind. The worksheets include:

A Calm Place:
This worksheet explains the process of creating a calm place for yourself. It gives you a lot of examples. This worksheet is really helpful in helping you create your own calm place which you can go to in your mind when you are feeling high levels of anxiety or worrying thoughts.

My Calm Place:
This worksheet is an opportunity for you to create your own calm place. Based on the informational sheet explaining what a Calm Place is, this sheet allows you to fill out different boxes to help you create a space in your mind in which you can feel safe, secure, and relaxed.

Box Breathing:
This worksheet guides you through a technique known as box breathing. There are also youtube videos and audio that you can follow along with to practice box breathing.

Coping Skills:
This worksheet helps you practice mindfulness and meditation. It teaches you what both mindfulness and meditation are and gives you recommendations related to how you can practice coping skills.

Deep Breathing:
This worksheet teaches you about deep breathing. It includes facts that are really helpful in understanding why breathing can help when you are feeling stressed or overwhelmed. It also teaches you how to deep breathe and the benefits of it!

Progressive Muscle Relaxation Script:
This worksheet guides you through a muscle relaxation exercise. This is very helpful if you are feeling negative emotions not only in your mind but in your body. A lot of the time, when we are holding onto stress, our body becomes tense. We don’t always notice it becoming tense but when we practice muscle relaxation, we are given the opportunity to release any tension that our bodies are holding onto.

Bodhi Yoga:
This worksheet guides you through yoga exercises that are useful for anxiety, depression, negative emotions, and anything else your body could be holding onto. Not only does it offer yoga positions you can try to help release tension, but it also provides the benefits of yoga and offers suggestions related to breathing, distractions, and even comparison.

Relaxation Cards:
This worksheet consists of cards that you can cut out if you’d like! If you’d like to keep them electronic that’s okay too! The cards consist of different techniques that you can use to relax and calm your mind!
