Welcome to a Space for Healing
If you're stuck replaying the past, wired with anxiety, numb and disconnected, or worn down by depression that won't lift, you're not alone. Trauma doesn't stay in the past. It lives in the body and the nervous system long after the danger is gone, shaping how you see yourself, how you connect with people, and how you move through your day.
Whether your pain traces back to childhood abuse, a toxic relationship, military service, or any other experience that left you shaken, trauma can turn everyday life into a constant uphill climb. For a lot of people, it looks like:
Anxiety that never shuts off, even when nothing is “wrong”
Depression that leaves you exhausted and unmotivated
Dissociation—feeling numb, foggy, or detached from your body
Difficulty trusting people or building safe relationships
Overreacting to small triggers or feeling nothing at all
A deep sense that something is “off,” even if you can’t name itThis is what trauma does. But this isn’t the end of your story.
That's what trauma does to a person. It's not a character flaw and it's not "too much." It's a nervous system doing what it learned to do to survive. And it's not where your story has to end. Therapy works, and healing is possible.
Trauma Therapy, EMDR & Dissociation Treatment
I'm a licensed clinical social worker with extensive experience helping clients work through complex trauma, PTSD, dissociation, anxiety, and depression. My approach pairs genuine compassion with therapy methods backed by real evidence, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), somatic work, mindfulness, and cognitive-based approaches.
EMDR therapy helps your brain reprocess painful memories so they stop running the show in your present-day life. It's one of the most effective, well-researched treatments available for trauma, PTSD, and dissociative symptoms.
Together, we'll work at your pace to rebuild a sense of safety, restore trust between your mind and body, and move you toward real, lasting emotional freedom. Every body holds trauma differently, and every path to healing looks different too. Wherever you're starting from, there's room for you here.
For the High-Achieving Woman Who's Running on Empty
You look like you have it all together. You're the one people rely on: at work, at home, for everyone else. You show up, you deliver, you don't drop the ball. And underneath it, there's a voice that never quite shuts off telling you it's not enough. Not enough rest, not enough done, not enough you.
If you're a high-achieving, Type-A woman who's exhausted from holding everything together while quietly convinced you're failing at all of it, I get it. Perfectionism and burnout aren't a personality quirk. A lot of the time, they're trauma responses, wired in early and reinforced by a world that only seemed to notice you when you were performing.
My own path here isn't textbook. I was adopted as a child, I served in the U.S. Army, and I built Bodhi from the ground up as a high-achiever myself, so I know that particular flavor of exhaustion: the drive to prove yourself, the fear that slowing down means falling behind, the habit of taking care of everyone except yourself. That background shapes how I understand trauma, resilience, and the weight that ambitious, capable women carry that nobody else can see.
Therapy helped me stop white-knuckling my way through life and actually start living it. I'm here to help you do the same. Let's work together.
Whether you're navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, dissociation, or the specific burnout that comes with being the strong one for everyone, you don't have to figure this out alone. You deserve therapy that's personalized, trauma-informed, and built around lasting change, not just getting you functional enough to keep pushing.
It's time to stop surviving and start healing.
Taking new clients
“Each of you is perfect the way you are ... and you can use a little improvement.”
— Shunryu Suzuki
You’re not broken—you’re carrying trauma. And you don’t have to carry it alone.
Before becoming a therapist, I served in the U.S. Army. That experience shaped how I view trauma, resilience, and the mental health challenges faced by veterans, first responders, and survivors of high-stress environments.
I’m also in recovery myself, so I understand the raw, relentless work of healing. I know what it’s like to feel like you’re holding it all together on the outside while falling apart on the inside. Therapy helped me reclaim my life—and I’m here to help you do the same.
Let’s work together.
Whether you’re navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, or symptoms of dissociation, you don’t have to do this alone. You deserve therapy that’s personalized, trauma-informed, and focused on lasting change.
It’s time to stop surviving and start healing.
