Licensed Professional Counselor
ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS

Change—even positive change—can feel hard and scary. Simply being here today reflects a courageous decision to pursue something different, and that alone carries incredible strength. While the process may seem overwhelming or intimidating, there is deep beauty in recognizing a need for growth and choosing to face it.

Therapy offers a space to show up fully—authentically, vulnerably, and without judgment. Healing happens through genuine connection and community. As a counselor, my role is to walk alongside you as you explore what change, connection, and belonging mean in your life.

Everyone deserves a space that empowers growth into their fullest self. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, self-doubt, or the weight of generational trauma, this is a place to set that weight down. You might feel stuck in intrusive thoughts or overwhelmed by hopelessness—whatever you carry, you're welcome to bring it here.

This work is grounded in compassion and respect for your lived experience. My clinical background includes supporting individuals with anxiety, depression, PTSD, caregiver fatigue, neurodivergence, life transitions, and college-related challenges. Passionate about bridging disconnection with meaningful connection, I support clients in embracing vulnerability throughout life’s ongoing changes. Emphasis is also placed on the mind-body connection and how distress can affect presence, embodiment, and engagement with life.

Therapy is a collaborative journey. You are the expert on your own life, and our work together is guided by your unique goals and needs. Evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and Relational-Cultural Therapy (RCT) inform my practice. Sessions also incorporate creativity, humor, and authenticity—always within a trauma-informed framework that centers your autonomy and empowerment.

“We're all just walking each other home.”

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Illinois College and my Master’s in Human Development Counseling from the University of Illinois Springfield.

My clinical experience includes working with a diverse population of college students, as well as individuals living with dementia and their caregivers.

One of the most important goals in my life is to do at least one thing I enjoy everyday. I am an avid runner and often participate in local races. I enjoy reading, listening to my favorite podcast, Morbid, and creating art in various mediums. You can often find me spending time outside with my partner and our black lab, Morty. I have found clarity and healing through daily self care and I hope to inspire others to do the same.

I receive clinical supervision from David McDaniel, LCSW.
